Spinal Metastasis Characterised on FDG PET/CT in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Spinal metastases are uncommon in head and neck most cancers. We current a uncommon case of vocal wire squamous cell most cancers that metastasized to the spinal wire and cauda equina. A 63-year-old man introduced with acute again ache and bilateral leg weak spot 5 months after having a surgical remedy for reasonably differentiated vocal wire squamous cell most cancers (T2 N0 M0). Restaging F-FDG PET examination demonstrated a delicate tissue mass with intense hypermetabolism within the distal spinal wire and a hypermetabolic leptomeningeal metastatic deposit on the L3 degree. The findings have been confirmed on MRI previous to remedy.
