[Meningitis and septic sinus thrombosis in connection with otitis media].

Summary
It is a case report of a 30-year-old feminine, who offered to the emergency division with headache, nausea and neck ache after 5 days of otitis media. After lumbar puncture, CT and MRI the affected person was handled for meningitis with preliminary enchancment within the scientific state. After 4 days she developed contralateral neurological signs, and after 5 days she had a seizure. MR-venography confirmed thrombosis of the lateral dural sinus with venous cerebral infarction. The remedy of intravenously administered antibiotics, mastoidectomy and anticoagulation is mentioned and in contrast with different instances within the literature.
