Summary
OBJECTIVE: Reporting our institutional expertise with high-flow nasal oxygen remedy (HFNOT), a recently-introduced method, for endoscopic airway approaches.
METHODS: Potential assortment of information of kids (<16 years) present process endoscopic between January 2016 and August 2017?at a tertiary referral college hospital.
RESULTS: HFNOT was utilized in 6 kids who underwent 14 procedures for various types and causes of higher airway obstruction of varied origins. No intraoperative problems; associated to oxygenation have been noticed, and the surgical procedures might be carried out as; initially deliberate.
CONCLUSIONS: We discovered that HFNOT is an efficient and protected method with a wide range of potential functions within the area of endoscopic pediatric airway surgical procedure.
