Professional profile

Mr Colin Nnadi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. His general training was on the Wessex Orthopaedic rotation. He is Spinal surgery trained at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, Norfolk and Norwich University Teaching Hospital and the Queens Medical Centre Nottingham. He was appointed to his present post in December 2008. His sub-specialty interests in addition to general spine surgery include paediatric and adult spinal deformity.

Mr Nnadi’s research interests include Sagittal plane deformity on which he has published in peer reviewed journals. He has also published on other topics in spinal surgery. He is an educational supervisor for the Oxford deanery and has been a faculty member for courses at national level. He is a member of British and European spine societies and is a fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society based in America.

Mr Nnadi enjoys sailing, tennis, current affairs, diplomacy, travelling and football.
